Syng Saikou is a rose that grew from the concrete streets of Parkway Village, here in Memphis, TN. The young songstress started singing at the age of 5 years old and began writing her own tunes in junior high. Her musical taste includes funky soul music from the 70s all the way to to modern rib and neosoul with some of her influences including world renown artists such as Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, & Aaliyah to name a few. She's opened the stage for people like Keke Wyatt, Omarion, Sir Charles Jones, & Public Announcement; She even has a song with a music video with poplar rap artist "Big Boogie". .
