General Information
Most frequent questions and answers
Most Memphis Music Room shows are all ages to enter, 21 to drink. However, specific events may be age restricted. Check the event page for details.
Age restricted shows (that is shows that 18+ or 21+) require a valid, non-expired, government-issued photo ID to enter the venue. Minors cannot attend an age restricted show even with their legal guardian.
At most shows, re-entry is not permitted. If you leave during a show, you will not be allowed to return. Some events, such as conventions will allow individuals to leave and return, but it is your responsibility to scan your ticket out as you exist the facility to get a wristband permitting re-entry.
You should give us a call the day after the show and see if your missing item was turned in. If the item was found and returned to the Memphis Music Room staff, we will make arrangements for you to claim your lost item.
Sorry, we do not have an on-site ATM, however our concessions and bar accept credit and debit cards.

No, we are a smoke free venue. The use of all tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, pipes, etc.) and electronic vaping devices is prohibited inside the venue. Smoking is only permitted in the designated outdoor smoking area.
Most, but not all, event configurations allow for seating on the main floor. However, certain shows may be standing room only.
Yes, our venue is handicap accessible. However, the upstairs meeting spaces are not wheel chair accessible. You should reach out to our staff prior to the event so that accommodations can be made and our security and event staff can anticipate your needs.
You should check our website and social media for information about show cancellations and rescheduled performances. If the show is a ticketed event, you should receive any updates from Ticketmaster.
If a show at the Memphis Music Room is postponed, rescheduled, or moved, your tickets remain valid for the new date and no further action is required. Emails will be sent to ticket holders notifying them of any available refund options. If the event has been postponed and no new date has been announced, you have 30 days to request a refund.

Many of our events have a cover charge. For larger events, you can purchase tickets at ticketmaster.com. However, if you prefer to buy tickets in person, they are available at our box office.
New events are announced regularly and tickets for these events become available on various dates and times. You should check our social media pages and website for on-sale dates for a particular show.
Yes. For General Admission shows, ticket prices often increase on the day of the show. You should buy early to avoid paying more at the door.
While most events are all ages shows, you should check the individual event information page. Some shows may be restricted to adults 18+ or 21+. We publish any age restrictions on the event page.
No, we are able to scan tickets right off your phone screen. Please be sure to have the tickets loaded on your screen before you enter the venue. If you need any help pulling up your tickets, please head to the box office for assistance.

We are a Ticketmaster approved venue. If you purchased your tickets through another site, we can not guarantee their validity and we will not replace them if lost or stolen. In addition, we have no way to contact those who purchase through a 3rd party vendor and cannot be responsible for communicating updates on the show, such as postponement or cancelation. This is the sole responsibility of the ticket buyer.
The showtime is printed on your ticket and is the time the first act will take the stage. Usually, a door time is printed on your ticket as well. Times of the show and individual acts are subject to change. For MMA, Wrestling, and Boxing events, the fight card is subject to change.

Yes, we have a selection of food available from our kitchen. The options vary depending on the event.
No outside food or drinks are allowed.
We accept cash and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express).
In accordance with Tennessee law, our bartenders require all patrons whose age is not obviously over 30 to present a valid form of ID before purchasing an alcoholic beverage.
A valid, non-expired, government-issued photo ID is required for anyone planning to purchase and/or drink alcohol at the venue. Anyone without proper ID, regardless of age, will not be permitted to buy, hold, or drink alcohol. If the security staff are presented with a fake ID, the patron will be escorted from the venue and no refund will not be given.

Yes, we have ample amounts of parking and parking is usually free.
Yes, we are located on Shelby Oaks Drive, right off the interstate. There are affordable budget hotels close by or you might consider one of the areas finer establishments, like the Hilton Memphis, which is just two exits away.
Yes, taxies and ubers can drop you off right at our front door, where we have covered line areas.
We are just up the street from Putt Putt Golf and Games, a major family attraction featuring minigolf, laser tag, batting cages, and an arcade. And we are near Shelby Farms, one of the largest urban parks in the United States, featuring 4,500 acres of outdoor recreation.
Prohibited Items and Activities

Any item we deem detrimental to public safety or that could limit other guests enjoyment of the show are prohibited. This includes weapons of any kind, except when we are hosting a gun and knife show and such items are properly checked and secured. Any item that could cause damage to the venue is prohibited.
You are not allowed to bring in illegal substances (including drugs and paraphernalia), chains (including wallet chains), any jewelry that could cause harm to another person, pepper spray, pocket knifes, beverage containers, food, stickers, laser pointers, aerosol cans (including spray paint, silly string, and mace), permanent markers, signs large than 11×17″, umbrellas, selfie sticks, or any other item deemed inappropriate by security staff.
We want our venue to be safe and welcoming to all. As such, dangerous or disorderly conduct such as moshing, crowd surfing, stage diving, throwing objects, and fighting is not permitted. Unruly behavior can result in your ejection from the venue. Unauthorized soliciting, vending, and distribution of materials is not allowed. Making inappropriate or sexual remarks or advances is not tolerated. Any behavior that harasses, taunts, or threatens another individual is not allowed. Abusive, foul, or disruptive language is unwelcome.
No, standalone or professional cameras may be brought into the venue, except by properly credentialed members of the press. You may bring a mobile phone that includes a camera, but other recording devices are not permitted.
Yes, service animals are allowed inside the venue. However, we do not allow any pets or comfort animals.
We would prefer that you leave all bags at home. But, if you must bring your bag, it is subject to being searched and must be of a reasonable size.
Yes. Prescription medication is allowed inside the venue if it is in the original marked bottle and accompanied by a proper matching ID.
Guests are not permitted to smoke or vape in the building. Smoking is only permitted in the designated outdoor area.
No. Lawn chairs, stools, or any other type of temporary personal seating is allowed at the Memphis Music Room.
